It is with great pleasure that River Maritime welcome the arrival of the Rainbow Warrior at Montevideo’s port, one of the most environmentally-friendly ships ever made.
This emblematic vessel has triggered couple of months ago the launch of the campaign on the Chilean South Pacific coast whose motto is “Save the seas at the end of the world,” to claim the protection for ecosystems of the country’s southern seas. Thereafter M/Y Rainbow Warrior called several ports in Argentina offering to its visitors the well known “Open Boat”: group tour on board and an opportunity to meet the Captain and Crew.
After completing her 48 hrs. call at Montevideo’s port, M/Y Rainbow Warrior will be sailing to Rio de Janeiro.
Once again, we would like to extend our warm welcome to the RAINBOW WARRIOR and her Crew to Montevideo, hoping she’ll have an enjoyable stay and will come back soon to sail the River Plate waters.
